Student Community Standards at Texas A&M

The mission of the Department of Student Community Standards is to cultivate a culture of community responsibility by upholding Texas A&M University’s high standards of conduct and accountability. To achieve this mission, we are committed to: upholding the core values of Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service; educating individuals and organizations on their rights and responsibilities as members of the university community; serving as a resource for students and partners within the university community; encouraging thoughtful reflection that instills and develops sound decision-making; fostering accountability through a fundamentally fair process and; providing restorative opportunities that empower students to become leaders who positively contribute to their communities.
